Divergent learner: • Emphasis on feeling rather than thinking. • Interaction is important; i.e. ask how they feel about…to link to their experience. • Responds well in group discussions, feeling domain.

Assimilator learner: • Values facts and knowledge over feelings. • Interested in health professional perspective. • Lecture, articles, fact finding, puts new learning together with old.

Convergent learner: • Applies knowledge and prefers hands-on. • Like opportunity to practice new skill. • Demonstration and return demonstration teaching.
