• Type o Intermediate-acting or long-acting basal analogue insulin and rapid/short-acting insulin. • Timing o Intermediate/long-acting basal analogue and rapid/short-acting before breakfast; rapid/short-acting before supper; intermediate/long-acting at bedtime. • Dosage o Because this is a modified BBI regimen, insulin dose calculations are done differently from BBI. The breakdown may be as follows.
